Event Says

Paella anyone? Muchas gracias

With the spate of street parties a distant memory after the Royal Wedding in April, it was lovely to see Regent’s Street transformed into a Spanish fiesta with the sixth Taste of Spain event on 2 June.

Over 500,000 flocked to the event that was produced by Wilde Ones for the Spanish Tourist Board.

Visitors could taste traditional Spanish food with giant paellas from Valencia, take a picture with the FIFA World Cup trophy, enjoy the sun on manmade beach and dance along to entertainment from Spanish bands such as We are Standard and DJ’s the Zombie Kids.

My favourite part of the show – the dancing horses from the Balearic Islands.
